Is Rekina SmartFarm free to use?
Basic features including AI chatbot, community access, and farm mapping are free. Marketplace transactions have a small commission.
How accurate is AI disease detection?
The scanner first checks the photo really is a crop, then gives you a diagnosis with a clear confidence level. When it is not confident it says so and offers to connect you with a verified agronomist, rather than guessing. We do not publish a single accuracy figure, because the honest answer depends on the crop, the photo and the conditions — and we would rather send you to an expert than overstate it.
How do microloans work?
Based on your farm activity and transaction history, you can apply for microloans directly in the app. Applications are reviewed by our partner lenders; approval times and terms are set by them.
Which countries are supported?
Rekina SmartFarm is launching in Tanzania. We plan to expand across East Africa.
Is the app available on both iOS and Android?
The Android app is launching on Google Play. An iOS version is planned.
